Terminology

Edge Envelopes
- feature high quality envelope paper – brightness, printing surface and strength are key.

GSM
- is paper weight in “grams per square metre”.


Peel & Seal
- uses a very thin strip of release paper that is removed to expose the glue prior to closing the envelope. P&S envelopes feature a quick clean seal upon contact, good printing efficiency and prolonged shelf life for office use.

Pocket Envelopes
- are side opening on the short edge.

Self Seal
- uses two glue surfaces with one covered by a flap of paper that is flipped open prior to sealing the envelope.

Tropical Seal
- uses a strong Dextrine glue but must be machine wetted or used as “lick’n’stick”.

Wallet Envelopes
- open on the long edge.
